THE ART WITHIN THE ACT.

Heartstoppers Haunted House is located in Rancho Cordova, California. It is home to four unique haunted houses and is open to the public every weekend in October to scare the daylights out of you. I am one of those actors but also one of their artists. Joal the owner of the haunt came to me asking if I could create a scene located in the outdoor haunt, BlightWoods. He stated he wanted a birch forest to be the home for the swamp witch. This was a huge challenge for me due to this being my first mural and my biggest project yet. With enthusiasm to take this challenge on, I accepted. As of September 2024, this twelve panel mural, each panel being about 7ft x 4ft was born. I had the Honor of acting in this space and this character and room is what I’m known for throughout Heartstoppers Haunted House.
